Hello,

Roowilliams.com is the online presence of Andrew ‘Roo’ Williams.

I work at a digital agency called TMW where I head up the technical innovation lab.

A friendly, thoughtful personality combined with a background in making and computing gives me the ability to connect with users and then create strong solutions in response to their problems.

I have an innate drive to innovate and strive to make myself and the things I interact with better. I can respond to any design brief, but am particularly interested in how networked products, data and computer processing can lead us to smarter, happier and more altruistic lifestyles. I am fascinated by what the objects we own say about us, how emotional bonds are created with brands through product experience and am intrigued by the way form can communicate personality.

I believe good design is the conscious arrival to the best possible outcome and enjoy manipulating a physical material as much as I enjoy manipulating an idea to get to the essence of a solution.
