Made from a small wood burl I harvested in South Wales last summer with a belt sander, drill and Dremel tool. After making the initial egg shape, I hollowed it out and drilled 3 holes which I 'set' with 3 tiny camera lenses from a redundant Nikon Coolpix digital camera.
The curve of the main lens creates a fish-eye and magnifying effect when the wearer looks inside that gives the impression of looking into a warm and cosy nest.
Designed for someone that was feeling nervous about leaving home and travelling the world for 4 months.
